This limited production, early harvest Kalamata presents an intense peppery sensation at the finish. It's highly astringent with notes of arugula and green tea, as well as hints of citrus blossom.


This oil is extraordinary in terms of health and availability. While olive production was low this season, the quality and health properties increased. Oleocanthal, a healthy phenolic compound with anti-inflammatory characteristics, in the oil accounts for the majority of the polyphenol total. We expect it will leave this season’s health competitions highly decorated. 


This oil was found to have such outstanding health benefits, as documented by the University of Athens and certified by the World Olive Center for Health, that the producer recommends taking a daily dose of 1/2 to 1 teaspoon.
