Sigona’s Red Apple Balsamic combines the crisp flavors of biting into a fresh apple, with the balanced sweetness of traditional balsamic.
Add to chutney or salads, drizzle on chicken, pork or smoked trout, serve with sliced apples and Parmigiano Reggiano or reduce and spoon over apple crisp à la mode.
Recipe: corn and slice three Fuji apples into thick wedges. Melt 2 TBL of butter over medium heat, add apples and 2 TBL brown sugar, stir to coat. Cover and cook 10-15 mins, until tender. Finish with 1 TBL of Red Apple balsamic.
